Following the release of his sensational new album – TOM MEIGHAN – has embarked on a string of UK dates in support.
The original Kasabian frontman who released ‘Roadrunner’ on Blue Rocket Records at the beginning of the year, will be taking its certified anthems to the masses with headline dates in Birmingham, London and Sunderland ahead of a summer of festival shows.
Performing for large festival and arena crowds is where Tom Meighan is at home. He’s a captivating frontman, empowered by every square foot of the stage when he performs. His latest live show is an unapologetic rock set from start to finish. Yes, it’s tempered by some more mature material – proving that Tom can do tender as well as tumultuous – but he now brings fresh life to even those Kasabian classics that liberally pepper his set. And his brand-new solo bangers smartly retain those terrace style chanting choruses, those danceable guitar riffs, and a stadium worthy groove too.
New album ‘Roadrunner’ sees Tom returning at full throttle with album opener ‘Use It Or Lose It’, followed by lead single ‘White Lies’ which, “explores the idea of what truth is.” ‘Silver Linings’ takes the pace down, ‘We Can Do It’ is a stadium ready banger and ‘Better Life’ finds Tom at his most reflective: “Sometimes I look around / For what’s already by my side / Been aiming at the stars / When they’re reflecting in your eyes.” The second half of the album ramps up the pace again with themes of love, passion and madness. The album closes with the vulnerable, fan favourite ‘Would You Mind’, originally released as a free download but has become an anthem at Tom’s live shows and repeated requests for inclusion on the next album have been answered. “This song has a life of its own, you see it when you see grown men and women singing every word with open arms and tears in their eyes. Maybe sometimes we should all ask for a little help.”

Receiving warm reviews from the press, All Music praised “Roadrunner, is a introspective work that cements his place as a powerful solo artist”, whereas in a 9/10 review Maximum Volume added “Tom Meighan has always oozed with charisma, passion and stage presence and I felt `Roadrunner` went a long way to finally capturing that on record.”
Last year Tom Meighan released his first solo album ‘The Reckoning’. It charted at #17, after hitting the official midweek chart at #2 (behind Ed Sheeran). Tom and his 5-piece band spent 2023 relentlessly touring the UK before packing out arenas on tour with Noel Gallagher, Richard Ashcroft, and performing at the iconic Isle of Wight Festival.
