The Soap Girls Launch New Era with “Running” – First Single from Upcoming Album Rebel DNA
Rock duo’s emotionally charged latest single explores loving from a distance, kicking off a year of new releases and upcoming global tour.
Alternative rock duo The SoapGirls return with “Running,” an emotionally charged, upbeat single that marks the beginning of a new chapter. Out now on all platforms, the track is the first release from their forthcoming album Rebel DNA, an album that will also lend its name to their 2026 world tour.
“Running” serves as the first in a run of independent waterfall releases that the band plans to drop regularly throughout the year, alternating between pop-leaning and heavier rock tracks. This is the band’s most commercial sound to date: the song captures the tension between distance and devotion, pairing heartfelt lyrics with an energetic, forward-moving sound.
The single introduces the themes behind Rebel DNA, a project rooted in authenticity, emotional honesty and defiance.
“Running is about loving someone from a distance and never giving up on the possibility of reaching them,” the band shares.
Known for their relentless touring and explosive live shows, The Soap Girls are bringing this new era directly to the stage. The band will tour from May to November 2026 with dates in the U.S., Japan, Europe and the UK.
“Running” is out now on all major streaming platforms, alongside its official music video.
