Paris Texas – Don’t Expect Anything At All

25th July 2023 Music News

Paris Texas have released their incredible debut album MID AIR, with news of the duo’s headline tour also announced today.

The record includes recent single ‘DnD’ – featuring Atlanta’s Kenny Mason – as well as prior singles ‘BULLET MAN’, ‘PANIC!!!’ and ‘Everybody’s Safe Until….’ A global run of dates begins in September, with pre-sale open now and general sale on Wednesday (July 26th) at 10AM.

MID AIR is a musical and visual world only Louie Pastel and Felix could dream up. As a Paris Texas debut, its songs are rife with anger, angst, prideful boasts, and an ever-present undertone of sly humor that makes the duo who they are. Composed and played mostly by Louie, the production is a pummeling mix of guitars, bass and raw energy, inciting the kind of mayhem that had Rolling Stone describing their Coachella debut as “taking the festival circuit by storm and leaving a throng of unruly new fans in their wake.”

The album includes a couple notable guests, including the enigmatic Teezo Touchdown, and production assists from the likes of Matt Cohn (SZA, The Weeknd) and Romil Hemnani of BROCKHAMPTON. At its core, MID AIR is a fully-realized and tantalizing statement from Paris Texas that lets their talents loose and proves you can expect anything from the duo, or better yet, don’t expect anything at all.

Check out the MID AIR tour details below, see more info on the album below and Paris Texas below, and stay tuned for another announcement from the duo coming sooner than you think.
