In-demand Warner Music Nashville talent Chase Matthew is hitting the fast lane once again, as he turns the ignition on revved-up anthem ‘DRIVES MY TRUCK‘.
Having been released on Friday (17th Jan), the uptempo jam finds the real-life car enthusiast hard on the gas with a flirtatious throwback to the truck songs of the â90s â just with extra horsepower.
Amping a high-octane mix of turbo-charged swagger, heavy-duty drums, and redlined electric guitars, the rollicking track (written by Matthew, Brock Berryhill, and Taylor Phillips) speaks to losing control in all the best ways when your girl takes the wheel.
Meanwhile, ‘DRIVES MY TRUCK’ sets the stage for Matthew to deliver his hotly anticipated upcoming album. Marking the Nashville nativeâs third full-length studio set, CHASE arrives on 21st February with 13 tracks like the previously released ‘MISSINâ ME MISSINâ YOU‘ and ‘BACKROADS OF MY MIND‘. With writing credits on nine tracks â including one solo write â CHASE also features a guest appearance by Lauren Alaina, and was produced by Austin Shawn with co-production on select tracks by Brock Berryhill, Blake Bollinger, Brian Bunn, Gabe Foust, and Will Bundy, plus an additional song produced by Danny MajiÄ. Pre-save/pre-add CHASE here.
More information is yet to come, but in the âmotherâ of all album release parties, Matthew celebrates a massive milestone on the day (21/w)Â CHASEÂ launches, setting the âMother Church of Country Musicâ â Nashvilleâs Ryman Auditorium â for his SOLD-OUT hometown headline debut at the historic venue.
