Friday 30th June sees the release of ‘Ingenious Devices’, an album by leading prog outfit Big Big Train that contains new versions of four revered epic songs by the group recorded over the last decade.
‘East Coast Racer’, ‘Brooklands’ and ‘Voyager’ all prominently feature an elite 17-piece string section recorded at London’s famed Abbey Road Studios and have been remixed especially for this release, while ‘Atlantic Cable’ was recorded live on tour at Friars, Aylesbury in September 2022.
The album also includes a previously unreleased orchestral piece entitled ‘The Book of Ingenious Devices’.
