Knox – Going Going Electric….
Due to overwhelming demand Nashville-based pop singer-songwriter Knox has today announced an additional UK tour date at Manchester’s Deaf Institute.
The London venue has also been upgraded to Electric Ballroom. This exciting news follows the release of his highly anticipated debut album ‘Going, Going, Gone’ which is available to listen to here.
Knox’s teenage years were soundtracked by artists such as Fall Out Boy and Ed Sheeran. After teaching himself to play guitar, he began his career performing at open mic nights before deciding to drop out of school in pursuit of his musical ambitions. In January 2019, Knox took a leap when he moved to Nashville.
Lockdown provided Knox the solitude to focus on his craft. This hard work proved successful when he struck a publishing deal in 2022. What followed was Knox’s successful debut EP ‘How to Lose a Girl in 7 Songs’. Social clips of his song ‘Sneakers’ amassed 2M views overnight and now boasts over 38M streams.
Another fan favourite, “Not The 1975,” cracked the Top 20 at Top 40 radio and Top 10 at Hot AC. Gaining further traction, he landed a SESAC Songwriter Award for “Not The 1975” and appeared on the red carpet at the MTV VMAs.
Knox has also established himself as a showstopping live presence. Renowned for energetic and engaging performances, he has hit the road with The Band Camino and Quinn XCII before going on to sell-out two headline tours. He has also wowed at Lollapalooza, the 2024 MTV VMA Block Party and the US Olympia Gymnastics Trials. With no end to his versatility and charm, he even made an appearance at the Scripps National Spelling Bee which was broadcast live across national television.
With more music and touring on the horizon, he’s going to share that feeling throughout 2025 and beyond.
