Who On Earth began establishing a reputation through relentless gigging around the New York tri-state area, with founding members Coosh (vocals) and Pete Rizzi (bass) having previously torn up stages as MadHaus.
During 2020, the longtime collaborators shifted their focus from covers to original material, writing ten songs and entering Sonic Stomp Studio with producer Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob).
Joined by drummer Joe D’Aqui, the group crafted a heavy, story-driven sound rooted in classic hard rock influences such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice in Chains and Tool. Despite delays caused by the pandemic, the sessions yielded ‘Blame’, their widely praised debut album released in late 2022.
Following the addition of guitarists Bruce Gatewood and Johnny James Barone, they gained further traction with a heavy rock reimagining of Toto’s ‘Hold The Line’. A line-up change brought in drummer Howie Fallon in 2024, though tragedy struck later that year with the passing of Gatewood. Jimmy Kocha joined in late 2024 as co-lead guitarist to solidify the current line-up
