Nova Scotia rock trio The Boojums are back with their incendiary new single “Burnin Up”.
The track is the second to be cut from their highly-anticipated and self-titled new album ‘The Boojums’, out on 31 October 2025 via Having Fun Records.
A track of flaming desire and fiery DIY riffs, of “Burnin Up”, guitarist and vocalist Willie Stratton says: “It’s about going for the person you want to be with and knowing that it’s not just a fling”.
In tandem with the release, the Canadian band have revealed a brand new official video shot featuring the band jamming around their local haunt of Cape Breton, interspersed with a lone motorcyclist haring down the highways of their homeland. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/oxb9k-u9t-U
The new video swiftly follows the recent track “Wings of Fire”, and stands as the first of their videos not to be shot close-up in their practice space.
