TALLBOY are a UK-based alternative metal band forging a sound built for the modern heavy landscape.
Blending punishing riffs, jagged rhythms, and emotionally charged vocals, the band channel intensity with purpose, balancing atmosphere and aggression in equal measure. Their music hits hard but lingers, driven by dark melodies, dynamic shifts, and an unmistakable sense of urgency.
Refusing to sit comfortably within genre boundaries, TALLBOY fuse contemporary metal ferocity with a forward looking edge. Their sound is expansive and confrontational, equally suited to massive stages and claustrophobic rooms, designed to connect with listeners who crave both weight and meaning.
Renowned for ferocious live performances and an uncompromising approach, TALLBOY are rapidly building momentum as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging heavy acts. With debut material laying the foundations and more on the horizon, the band are carving their own space in alternative metal, loud, relentless, and impossible to ignore.

Previous singles ‘The One Below All’ and ‘F**k The Algorithm’ have helped increase the bands visibility with solid feedback and global airplay with pick-ups across the likes of Kerrang Radio, Primordial Radio, Rock Radio UK and BSBTV!
This has all been working towards the release of their forthcoming EP ‘Chasing Ghosts’ which is accompanied by the new single ‘This Is England’.
‘Chasing Ghosts’ is the sound of teeth grinding against the state of everything. It’s loud, unfiltered, and unapologetically pissed off! This EP isn’t here to comfort anyone – it’s here to call things out.
We’re surrounded by noise dressed up as connection. Social media sells a highlight reel while quietly hollowing people out, and too many are buying it without question. ‘Chasing Ghosts’ takes aim at that illusion, the validation loops, the surface-level thinking, the wilful ignorance that keeps it all spinning.
Every track is a reaction. A refusal to stay quiet. A rejection of the shallow narratives and the pressure to conform. This is us screaming into the void, not because we expect it to answer back, but because staying silent feels worse.
This EP is anger with purpose. It’s frustration turned into volume. It’s a middle finger to the world as it is and a demand for something real.
