Not Dead Yet was initially the brainchild of lead guitarist Simon Dean who created the foundation of the band on the back of late 90’s, early 2000’s pop-punk.
Formed with an array of different members the whole vibe of NDY was completely different.
Fast forward to 2022 and Simon Proposed the idea of taking the band into a more modern direction, and this is when Tom, Harry and Jim come into play and they got work on their first release ‘Heart In A Pizza Box’ . Bringing in the modern influences of Neck Deep, State Champs, All Time Low with elements of Blink 182, Good Charlotte, Sum 41 eventually they found their sound.

“The song is based around the idea of everyone being sucked into social media, Slaves to their phones and living there lives in Facebook, Instagram etc. Basically metamorphizing that the hotel is social media and people have checked in but cant check out because they are sucked in” – Not Dead Yet
