Over the past five years, Jacob Collier has performed all over the world in a remarkable range of live settings.
From selling out arenas with his band to improvising with the National Symphony Orchestra, uniting fans in the world’s first-ever Audience Symphony Orchestra, and hosting his inaugural Hideaway Retreat, the Jacobean stratosphere continues to reach new heights.
Yet this September and October will bring something new and different. Today, Jacob announces The Light For Days Tour, a one-off series of 22 solo performances in intimate spaces across the UK, Europe and North America.
After selling out London’s O2 Arena in 2024, Jacob will provide UK fans with the intimate experience of a two-night run at London’s Union Chapel and a date at Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh. These shows will see Jacob perform at his most present and immediate, reflecting the deeply raw and rooted approach of his latest album, The Light For Days, and furthering the unique experience of Jacob’s live shows when everything falls away to just him, his audience and the music he loves.
Artist presale begins on Tuesday, March 17 at 10am local time, with general tickets on sale Friday, March 20 at 10am local time. See below for a full list of The Light For Days tour dates, and for more information, visit jacobcollier.com/tour
Ahead of this intimate The Light For Days Tour, Jacob will also give special performances in several continents this spring and summer, headlining Cape Town’s International Jazz Festival, curating music at this year’s TED Conference in Vancouver, as well as performing bespoke orchestra shows in Boston, Lithuania, Italy and Spain.
In recent weeks, Jacob Collier celebrated his 16th career GRAMMY® nomination, released his new Something HeavyEP (a three-song exploration of The Light For Days highlight “Something Heavy”), performed “Something Heavy” on Later… with Jools Holland with the London Voices, was featured in an extensive cover story with Guitar.com celebrating his new custom 5-string Guitars in collaboration with Taylor Guitars, and revealed his ambassadorship of BBC Get Singing, the BBC’s biggest music education initiative in a decade, aimed at encouraging 11-14 year olds to sing both inside and outside of the classroom.
