Riding the wave of momentum from their last single Break On—which earned worldwide airplay and continues to enjoy consistent rotation—Daytura return with their powerful new release, June.
A song born entirely in the moment, June captures lightning in a bottle. “This song was born out of a jam,” the band explains. “The lyrics and melody came out in one go exactly like you hear on the record. Sometimes you catch something special, right in the moment—and this is that.”
With an authentic sound reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and Heart’s golden era of progressive hard rock, Daytura have rapidly carved out a reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling rising acts. Their fusion of razor-edged riffs, soulful blues grit, and searing, emotive vocals has earned attention both on record and across the live circuit.
In just two years, the band have gained national and international radio support—including airplay from BBC Introducing and iHeartRadio—as well as performances at major festivals such as Teddy Rocks and VDub Fest, plus tour support slots with emerging UK rock favourites like The Entitled Sons and The Rattlebacks.
June arrives as Daytura continue work on their forthcoming EP, recorded at the iconic Salvation Studio, home to projects from artists including David Gilmour and Wet Leg. At the helm of the sessions is legendary engineer Phill Brown, renowned for his work on tracks such as Stairway to Heaven. Together, they are shaping a body of work that promises to showcase the full depth, power, and upward momentum of Daytura’s sound.
With June, Daytura deliver a track that feels both instinctive and timeless—an electrifying example of what happens when a band fully locked into their creative chemistry hits record at exactly the right moment.
